Trusting Your Inner Guidance - Seattle, WA!

With a combined 54 years as cancer survivors, Jan Adrian and Terri Tate are all too familiar with the pitfalls of that journey. High among them is the overwhelming confusion when choosing from the vast array of healing modalities available. Whether we are dealing with an illness or not, we are constantly confronted by an infinite number of choices. Which kind of yogurt should I buy? What supplements do I need? Which diet is best for me?

Many people need assistance, encouragement, and support to muster the courage to take charge of their own healing, and to tap into their intuitive knowing, especially when it contradicts conventional wisdom. In this workshop, we will assist participants in accessing your internal wisdom to make decisions related not only to your healing, but to all aspects of your lives. During this informative and fun-filled day, we will explore a variety of methods for finding and trusting our inner guidance. Approved for 6 CE credits for Nurses

Terri Tate at the NANP Conference and Expo 2017

  • Portland Marriott Downtown Waterfront Hotel (map)
  • Google Calendar ICS

The National Association of Nutrition Professionals (NANP) will hold its 2017 Annual Conference & Expo, Blazing Trails in Holistic Nutrition, May 4-7, 2017 in Portland, Oregon. Terri will give her keynote speech, "Care for the Trail Blazers" on May 5.

For nearly forty years, humorist Terri Tate has been traveling the country, speaking to health care audiences about the importance of self-care. She preached [and deeply believed] that we can’t take any better care of our patients than we do of ourselves. Then, in 1990, Terri became a patient. She discovered that her mantra was even truer than she had known. Two bouts of disfiguring oral cancer from which she had a 2% chance of survival took her to a deeper level of understanding of what it means to love and care for yourself. She will share the insights gained on her harrowing and often hilarious journey and read excerpts from A Crooked Smile. We will explore how to love and care for ourselves as we set out to blaze new trails!.
